Abstract
Smart agriculture uses the Internet of Things (IoT) and data technologies to increase operational efficiency and productivity. This paper describes an efficient method for monitoring and controlling environmental conditions in a hydroponic system utilizing sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers. This project integrates and networks multiple monitoring systems over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and aggregates the data in a cloud database. A mobile application to monitor and control elements in the IoT system was also built.
