Abstract
Remote sensing by satellite image is emerging technology that does not require physical data measurement and collection. Satellite imaging helps us to easily study natural resources over time, as the ecosystem changes. The state of our lands and vegetation in Ghana, if bad, hinders food production and even wood and mineral extraction. Burned areas result in loss of vegetation for a period depending on the severity of the burn and sometimes even forever. This project uses remote sensing to study the state of burned areas especially vegetation in Ghana and the degree of damage and degree of recovery after the fires.
