Abstract
The use of software in universities is expanding. The constant scheduling of events such as lecture events, social events, and faculty events takes place almost every day. In the educational setting, room allocation has made it possible to organize demography and engage students in academic and non-academic events to maximize resources. There has been a conventional approach to allocation rooms with spreadsheet applications. These applications were extensively used until better systems were introduced - web-based applications. Thus, software that can perform many actions based on few commands would be preferable to manage the ever-growing student body, events, and activities sharing the same resources. The primary objective of this project is to assist the academic registry in scheduling rooms for lecture-based activities at Ashesi University. The research employs agile methodologies to implement web application software to address the manual scheduling of rooms and presentable information displays.
