However, in emerging markets, majority of the mobile device users still use their feature phones, presenting an opportunity for OEM’S and operating system manufacturers to produce a phone that would suit this market. Mozilla, the company that popularized the open source browser Firefox, has developed a mobile operating system. Hopefully, this operating system would provide smartphones at affordable prices to consumers who cannot afford the high-end devices that are currently sold on the market.
